Suunto Mosquito 1 Year ago

Does anyone have any experience with the Suunto Mosquito? I know its a an older computer and is not being made anymore, but I can get a second hand, barely used one for R1500. I'm still a student so cash isn't exactly forthcoming, but if it's worth it I have some savings... So do you guys reckon this is a good buy or should I rather keep my money? I know it's not a D4i or whatever, but I know Suunto makes good watches and from what I gather it's basically a D3 with scuba features as well as the freediving mode? Any advice or comments would be much appreciated! Cheers

Hey Wannan
I've been diving with a mosquito for years and It has served me well - no problems.
I think for that price it isn't a bad deal, just make sure of the condition though.
There are obviously a ton of watches on the market at the moment, but from my personal experience, I've really enjoyed the Mosquito.
Cheers!

Save a bit more and buy the Sporasub SP1.
Excellent freedive watch with all you need and more.
Best priced compared to others with same functions.
Very ggod watch. Have been using it a few months and love it.
Nothing wrong with a mosquito, but you can have EVERYTHING in a freedive specific watch, for a little bit more.

Hi Bennie.
Sorry for only replying now..been real busy!
I paid R2565. And if I remember correctly, the R65 was the postage.
I bought from Rabitech. It worked out cheaper than through scubastore.
Great watch!
Cheers
