Thought you might like to know, I was in Freedivers yesterday looking at guns and suits and Shane mentioned that he is running a summer sale. Carbon guns are like R1300 and camo 3.5mm open cell suits are R1500. I don't know if he has launched the sale yet but I took 2 carbons home with me.

I would definitely make a pass there.

my personal opinion is that as a local spearo i am very lucky to have such good affordable wetsuits on my doorstep.

i have been using freedivers wetsuits for 5 years and got absolutely no complaints. everything about them has been excellent. mates have got rob allen wetsuits and also no complaints... so you can confidently go into either and you will not be disappointed.

he is a very decent chap...

dived in freezing cold transkei water last week 15deg... i was only in a 3.5mm suit so was probably under rubbered.

i am a lean guy with no excess body fat. i was interested to hear from shane and jeremy whether they also suffer from the cold and how they manage this. is it just a case of more rubber is better?

I am by no means lean, but geepers I can not handle the cold. I get suited up in as much rubber as is practical.

I am never going to freeze like a did on Sunday ever again, next winter in going to get a 5mm freedivers suit i can give you a letter for that!!!
